[R-390] 390 RF Deck Replacing After Removal

Hello to the Group,
I’m new here and am searching for an R390 expert in removing and replacing the rf deck.  
I need to squirt detox-it onto the rf switch on the bottom of the deck to clean up bad noise when I switch bands.  I have the TM 11-5820-357-35 and some notes I gleaned off your archives, but it still doesn’t give me the confidence that I’d be able to re-align the slip gears and crystal switch and my fear is I’d end up with a literal boat anchor.  Unless this is easier than I’m envisioning.  
But if not, is there anyone in the New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania metro area that has the skills to help me or possibly can do the delicate work with me bringing it over. 
I am located in northern New Jersey and would be willing to travel if someone  can help.
