[R-390] Misrepresented RF gain Pot on E-Bay

 I just had a pleasant conversation with Frank K5SVC and talked to him about his 5 k pots.  He did not know that they were not reverse log.  I told him that two resistors can make the pot think it is reverse log.  When I find out what the value is I will let him know.  He has a few hundred of them!
He is pulling the ad until he knows.
What value were they?

Good Morning. Please check out your 5 k pots. Your pot was not used in an R-390A. Your pot is a 5 k LINEAR pot.

The R390A RF gain 5 K pot is a 5 k reverse log pot. I will keep this one as I can use it in another project.
