[R-390] R390A for Sale

Atlanta, GA hams recently loss a long time friend and his widow has requested that Dave Moss (KE4UW) find a new home for her husband's station.  One of the items is a R390A in excellent condition (picture of the tag below). I spend the late 60’s as a Communication Technician knee deep in R390s and if the one I purchased from him is an indication of the condition to one he was using you will have a real gem.  Anyone wanting to purchase the receiver can contact Dave (davemoss at mindspring.com <mailto:davemoss at mindspring.com>) with an offer. Dave now has access to the receiver and can provide additional pictures. The receiver will require local pickup. As all you guys know these receivers are heavy and with current conditions I wouldn’t want to ship.
