When printing schematics across several pages, I use Rubber Cement. This allows for careful alignment, then I squeegee the excess cement with a ruler and let dry. When dry, any excess cement is easily rubbed off.The back of the seams is scotch taped for good measure.Jim Sent from my Galaxy Tab® A

They were not organized very well for this sizepaper, but were ok. However, after seeing the nice quality schematics thatNick just scanned, I decided to find or make some good ones forletter paper that were not foldouts.I have known about the ones in the Y2K R3 Tech Ref for a very long time, but the printing was too small, there were a lot of typo errors and the IFunit was put all on one page (this made it way to compact anddisorganized for me), it should be on three pages (as the RF unit is). Inthis condition, it was not worth it to me to print them out. But, Idecided to use them as a basis for what I'd like to see.Pete did a very nice job of redrawing the schematics for the R-390A so theywould fit onto 8.5" x 11" paper for the Y2K R3 Tech Ref (and for themost part, were nicely organized into logical units). I used all of Pete'sschematics as a starting point except for the IF unit. I corrected all themany typos, and enlarged the schematic diagrams so they take up the wholepage (thus enlarging the lettering to a point where it's barely largeenough for easy reading). For the IF unit, I used the IF schematic from Nick's doc that I updated anddivided it into three logical segments, one per page. They are on our website in the 'reference' section just below the Y2K techref and you can see them here:R390A Y2K R3 schematics upd ljh.pdf (r-390a.net)<https://www.r-390a.net/R390A%20Y2K%20R3%20schematics%20upd%20ljh.pdf>. Tomake them easily viewable online, I rotated them, so if you print them, remember to print them in landscape mode.Regards, Larry______________________________________________________________R-390 mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/r-390Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:R-390 at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
