[R-390] Question About the 20 Pin male bulkhead on the IF deck

 Yep, I'm nailed.  Thanks for the prompt Steve.  See attached.  Looks like two wires
(red/white) are coming up on it.  But, the thought of changing the connector makes the
heart burn even worse 🙁 ....  I used to have a small "micro torch", a little handheld
butane thing.  If I can find it, that would make quick work of heating a point on the pin,
at the risk of melting down the base molded plastic of course.

Wife did give me one option:  "Quit complaining and just throw that old thing away!" ...

IS that pin even hooked up?
If not, just cut it back?

If you're going to bend it back, maybe heat it as you bend it.

I had pins snap off, Sometimes you can just butt solder them back together...

Of course the right way is to replace the connector. :-)

the last time I tried to straighten a Collins connector pin, it broke off.  So,
armed with this indigestible memory, I'm wondering if heating it and putting
a light coat of solder might not give it a fighting chance?

Any engineers out there with experience in this?
