The ID tags on the ebay Fowler and mint example provided by Tom are entirely different. The ebay ID tag as mentioned by others has a 64 date where as the mint example in Tom's email has the 84 date... also the printing is not crisp at all and is very different on the ebay model compared to the mint pics you supplied here Tom. I would guess the ebay receiver has a reproduction ID tag?

I'll attempt to attach some pics of the mint Fowler that Les's buddy discovered many years ago. Note the IF metal bending is not EAC style.
I don't have a dog in this hunt. I do wish I had that mint example though.

The EAC IF decks have different metal bending than the rest. The mint Fowler I saw had non-EAC metal bending in the IF deck, so I would say not EAC.

Excellent discussion about the Fowler on eBay, it’s great to have some
detailed pictures and then the background from those in the know.
When I looked carefully at the modules, it seemed to me that they looked
very similar to the many EACs from the ‘67 contract I’ve had over the
years.
Is it possible that Fowler purchased these modules from EAC/Hammarlund and
made some minor upgrades? I can’t imagine that for such a limited run they
would have set up the tooling to build these from scratch. Or, could it
be that they purchased the tooling and parts from EAC/Hammarlund?
On another subject, I have a nice EAC in the 8K s/n range from the ‘67
contract that never went thorough the depot, however the meters had been
pulled. I replaced the Vu meter with a bright newer one, but have never
been able to find a similar bright carrier level meter. Anyone have one
that they would be willing to part with?
Thanks,
