Hi Les,
I do not believe that is an original R-390 front panel, but if ever it is an
early prototype, this is the first one ever seen.
I agree that what can be seen in the pictures could be useable.
The RF deck is an early one (before MOD 2).
The IF deck can be used to make a R-725, however it does not seems to be an
early one.
There are pencil marks on the top of Z501 that came from the alignment
process.
Seeing the serial number of the IF deck can provide more clues.
Just wondering what the underside and back may look like...
