[R-390] New member here

Hi folks,I am a new member here and just wanted to introduce myself. I am fairly new to the R390A. In the fall of last year I bought a nice Motorola that was refurbished from a friendly and knowledgeable ham in Southern NJ. I remember hearing about the R390/390A's when I was a teenager back in the late 80's / early 90's collecting & fixing up boatanchors (I got my ham ticket in 1988 when I was in 8th grade). I finally decided to look around for one last year. The R390A is a joy to use and listen to and is an amazing piece of engineering. I have a lot to learn about them.
