[R-390] It's all done!

Thanks! I'm so glad I got that beast. It's been more fun restoring and
modifying it than I've had with any radio in a long time. I've wanted one
for years and all the hype is true. Rarely do I find that to be true. It
really is an amazing radio! I prefer it to my modern gear. My IC-R75 has
nowhere near the sound quality, my SDRs have nowhere near the romance, and
the R390A actually does a pretty good job keeping up with them and often
beats them hands down. Yeah it's much more work to use, but I find that to
be a charm which just adds to the enjoyment.
My wife convinced me to order up a Wellbrook loop antenna for it to deal
with the baseline S7 noise level I have. I can't wait to see how she does
with it. I have no doubt the R390A will make the best of the best.
73's
John
