[R-390] My Bobbsey Twins

I have the R390 and R390A side by side on the bench for some comparative
tests.  Both connected to the same antenna, both using their own Hammond
output transformer and both feeding a pair of JBL bookshelf speakers - one
for each.  I haven't done any tests yet, but I thought you guys and gals
would enjoy pics of two restored units side by side.  Since some of you have
had problems with attached pics, and because I'd have to compress them and
kill resolution to allow them to be shared, I've put them on my Google
drive.  Take a look!  I don't think the links appear as clickable links with

Both are newly painted.  The "A" is done in gloss Rustoleum "Dark Machinery
Gray" with gloss black knobs, the R390 is done in Satin Rustoleum "Granite"
with Semi-gloss knobs done using VHT engine paint.. .  Ignore the dust
laying on top of the R390 dial cover.  I forgot to dust them off before
photographing.
