There is also Fastenal 3PL (Third Party Logistics)- Their freight service for shipping heavy items. Some of my car buddies have used them to ship engine blocks and other car parts. Similar to Fed-X Standby.
I personally prefer Fed X ground for shipping radio gear as I had a very bad R390A experience with UPS due to very poor packaging by a UPS store near where the radio was sourced (the seller did not want to pack it himself and did not tell me after I specified how i wanted it packed). - Steve W7SJT
