[R-390] White lines on knobs

Thank you Don and Stan, Using a good etching primer did the trick. I
used: VHT SP307 High Performance Self-Etch Primer. It specifically says
for aluminum and it drys very quickly. Three light coats at 10 min wait
before each and 30 min wait before top coat. I now have one excellent coat
of black semi-gloss on it. That should be cured tonight, so we'll see how
the next coat goes. I have no reason to believe it will wrinkle. Thanks.
