That's a kind an gracious offer.  The only problem I see is what would be the cost for an unfinished knob.  To be reasonably affordable to the list members you'd have to do it as a labor of love for material costs. 

 Even is you did that I suspect just the aluminum material cost would make the price more than list members would be willing to pay because there are several despised *professional* dismantlers [to keep the language family friendly] who make an income by buying complete A's, parting them out, and I suppose cleaning them up a bit, then sell the individual modules.
They regularly haves sets of knobs for sale.  The downside for this is if one needs only one or two. 

I know several subscribers to the list who reman A's either full or part time.  They may have *junkers* where they acquired some spares.   Perhaps they may be willing to sell small amounts.
