Hi Guido,

Have you tested the tubes in the IF deck ?
Can be one of the IF tubes that developed a grid leakage.
It can be also (hope it's not that) the Z503 winding that became faulty.
Some other contributors to this list experienced a failure there, and this gave obvious AGC problems.
Z503 winding should measure about 13 ohms, and have a 26kHz bandwidth (centered to 455 kHz).
C563 is a 2000pF, L514 should have 61.2µH at 455kHz.
