Hi Ed,
The filters I had the screwa mount exactly in place of the OEM BUT you have to cut a bit as the whole is round and the Corcom is rectaingular.
When I did mine there was just a tiny gap at the top and bottom of the filter but it wasn't really noticable.
While your at it, replace the RF gain control cap with a new low leakage one from the kon brothers. Nichicon, rubicon...you get the idea.
You also have additional space to you can mount a CL-XX surge limiter as well as a ceramic transitent protecter.
If you really, really want to be up to the NEC electrical code, you will find the nuetral wire is switched with the power switch. It is simple to swap the hot-nuetral leads at the filter output.
