Hi

Putting a couple turn “coil” in power cords or coax is a cheap
and simple way to make a common mode choke. The inductance
may not be large. It does not have to be super big. You want to 
knock down the current to something manageable. You don’t have
to eliminate it entirely. (Yes, Motorola paid for the collage course 
I learned that in ….).
