[R-390] Snap Crackle, Pop, and frying eggs

Hi Gene,  Unfortunately this sounds like a cap going bad.  But it could also be a tube.  I'd start by pulling the tubes out 1 by 1 starting with the RF amp and work towards the audio.  When the noise stops, the problem is that tube or its circuitry or close in front of it.  These can be difficult, but can be cured.
