[R-390] Front Panel Question

Hello all,

I'm Jim W1JT.

Being recently retired I've turned my attention to some of my old boat
anchors.

I'm definitely no technician but I have fun messing about with these old
radios and I don't hurt myself too often!

I just finished cleaning and recapping one of my R-390's and I'm happy to
report that it seems to be working beautifully.

I've always wanted to learn how to totally refinish the front panel and
bring it back to as close as "new" shape as possible.

I'm wondering if you folks know of a resource I could turn to that would
help me understand everything that would be involved with such a venture.

Any help is truly appreciated.
