[R-390] 6C4- 6C4WA- 6100- 6136

Hmmm ... either seems fine to me. A 6C4WA is just a ruggedized 6C4. There may be modest differences in noise and gain but only what you would see between otherwise identical tubes all the time.

I've always considered the 6C4, 6C4WA, EC90, etc., to just be sorta-kinda half of a 12AU7A.

See what others say. I'd have to check but I think I have some of each in my 390A.
