folks. thanks for the advice on correcting the BFO hum on cw and ssb signals from my post in October . i bought a pack of 6ba6w tubes on ebay. first i replaced the bfo tube no joy. then i replaced the vfo tube and voila, no more hum. thanks again to all the group and their collective wisdom their knowledge.
