Actually, the 8.2M resistor (R629) is present in the radios as built 
(with tubes), and is REMOVED for use with the Transistorized Amplifier 
Module ("TAM").

But in any case, DO NOT build a TAM clone (and if your radio has a TAM 
installed, seriously consider removing it and converting to the tube 
circuit, either with the "Super Simple" modification to re-bias the 26A7 
or with the Johnson MOSFET replacement for the 26A7).  See my 12/1/16
