Who is this fraud disguised as a legit honest ham? I didn't see a name.
I have 3 R390a receivers labeled at mil surplus Hawaii as coming from northern Thailand allegedly from a CIA DETACHMENT. They all have a 10 turn pot for the BFO control. That alone does not make it an authentic spook receiver. But they are fun to play with
Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.

List,
Well folks phony Teddy is at it again. He's still trying to peddle a fake spook receiver with all the amazing enhancements.

If you haven't received you doctorate degree in duplicity, deceit, fact manipulation, sleaze and fraud, here's the place to go and learn.
BTW his inference that they were recalled to use in Desert Storm is a lie. I was there. I also was at AG1AB amateur radio station located at Dhahran Airport which was equipped and operated by hams working for ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. ARAMCO hams were well connected and had a large but unofficial relationship with the Saudi and American military and US Consulate.
One ham friend of mine worked on the side for a Saudi Prince and had a work badge that said "This man works for me. Give him any assistance that he asks" signed Prince XXXXXX Al Saud. He had true stories that were amazing to say the least.
It would be most interesting if list members would ask him questions about "adjusting meter pivot bearings" for proper operation and other such non-sense.
He lies with the black painted steel tube shields implying that they are either IREC or WPM(?) after market types.
I'm all for legitimate mods and the profit system but this guy is a disgrace to all hams and legitimate refurbisher's.
Regards,
Perrier
