Tom, measuring at that point can be misleading as the capacitance change in the circuit will change and be reflected back to the tuned plate circuit and detune it.  I sometimes use a 200k res to decouple the capacitance of the probe which helps a little.  I measure about .8 (8/10) volt p-p on my scope.  I have not calibrated it recently, but it's probably close.
