[R-390] Bargain priced tubes

More good news my fellow Heretics! (Purists should skip this.)
ABC electronics in FL is online and is having a sale on a large amount of tubes. As the supply shrinks replacements will keep increasing.
Most might not be of interest however for us heretics there are some good bargains.  Sorry no 6BA6's or 6BE6's for the regular folks..
The tubes I found are 6JH6 (8,000 mmho), 6BY6 (1,900µM about twice that of a 6BE6), 6GM6 (13.000 mmoh ) at $1 ea.
Now there site isn't exactly clear if the $10 minimum order is for a total of ten tubes or that one must by 10 of each selected value. 
Now why would one want to buy them. Glad you asked.
Ray Osterwald, editor of ER magazine in his article "A competition grade R-390A receiver showed how with a slight bias re-wiring, one can then use the lower noise semi-remote pentodes instead of just the sharp cut-off pentode 6DC6. BTW, Ray documented all his impressive performance gains.
He also used the 6JH6 replacing the 6BA6's in the IF.
The 6BY6 is a little known, tube but it is a direct plug-in for the 6BE6. This is nice for the SP 600 but one should read Andy Moores comments about removing the AGC from the 2nd mixer of the SP 600.
