It really is, but nothing would please Mike more than to have others 
follow his example.   That's one reason he sticks with simple methods 
and tools.  The one thing I've learned most from him - and it's obvious 
to anyone who has admired his work - is the emphasis on thinking and 
planning.   I told Mike he takes the old adage "measure twice, cut once" 
to some exponential power!

But cutting the metal is by no means the only place he applies this 
discipline.   Every circuit and layout is "mental modeled" before hand 
touches tool.   That's a tough one for those of us who live for instant 
gratification to do, but it's really the secret.
