[R-390] FS: Collins R-390a receiver with matching Collins CY-917 enclosure

I’m downsizing.  So my Collins R-390a receiver with matchingCollins CY-917 enclosure has to go. This is Collins manufacture except for the IF Deck which isMotorola.   This receiver is fullyfunctional and very sensitive.  I havemade a few of the mods recommended by R-390a affectionados, includingreplacement of the “killer capacitor” in the IF deck, 10-turn pot for RF meterzero, addition of an inrush current limiter MOV in the AC line, replacement ofthe power supply tube rectifiers with solid state devices (and the requireddropping resistor).  The engraved frontpanel has also been professionally refinished and lettered by a restorer in theSoutheast US (honestly I don’t remember hiscall/name).  It looks nice. You will not be displeasedby this receiver.  Approximate weight 95lbs so shipping/handling will not be cheap. Will be carefully packed for safe shipping.  Local pickup in Central Florida is also accepted, and will reduce S/H appropriately.
