[R-390] R-392 Serial number query

I pulled a Collins R-392 out of storage and noticed the serial number has
M-1 after the numeric digits.  Any know what the suffix means?

After being dormant for many, many years, the R-392 fired right up and
starting playing.  I'm loaning it to a local list member to help his
efforts repairing his R-392 with possible mechanical issues.
