[R-390] R390-a repair in Minnesotta

A person is interested in purchasing a rebuilt R390-a from me and he has no
technical knowledge.  He operated one in VN and really wants one.  I have
been trying to talk him out of the purchase as if he even has a simple
repair problem he will be lost.  Below is his email.

 

"I am still dreaming about having a 390.  Your observations about my lack of
electrical skill are right on.  If I had a 390, and if it needed repair,
would it be difficult to find some one in my area, Minneapolis, MN, to
repair it for me?  I know you do not know all the specifics about the area,
etc...   but - generally - would it be difficult to get one repaired???"

My answer to him is yes - it would be difficult to get repairs unless there
was someone close to him.  

 

Is there anyone in the Twin City area that could offer help if needed?
