[R-390] More issues removing wiring harness

I have got two very stuck, corroded front panel controls.  The AGC switch and the Limiter pot are frozen to the front panel.  I tried many applications of penetrating oil, WD40, and hitting the shaft from the front with a hammer as hard as I dare.  
Several other controls were corroded, but they came out.  
I tried turning with my hand from the back, no luck.  
Any way to avoid damaging them?
