Alan,

The overall "best" manufacturer of alignment tools is GC Electronics.

Their Kit 5040 will tackle the R-390As and just about any Boatanchor 
Receiver or transmitter.

Only *one* tool in the kit is *NOT* insulated.  It is the soldering aid.

All the remaining are non-conductive.

It keeps folks from making themselves into light bulbs.

They are worth having, and hang them over the "work" bench.
