[R-390] Filter label glue

I removed the label on one of the filters I repaired and now am 
wondering what kind of glue to put it back on with?  I don't want to use 
epoxy although it probably would work, but may become brittle and may 
not stick too good to the shiny metal.  The original seemed to be some 
sort of contact glue.

Any good ideas out there, or just a good quality contact cement?
