I had the weld(bond, whatever you want to call it) holding the SS or titanium contact on an antique spark gap key break apart by attempting to clean it in a small ultrasonic tank.
Be careful. Same advice for inserting fingers into the tank while running. Enough power and bad things can happen. Google it.

If you go near a radio with an ultrasonic, pull all the crystals out of it first ….

Ultrasonic cleaners work very powerfully over very short distances. Something like a split gear is not a good thing to attack with an ultrasonic.
