Yes, I have no plans to lick the meter faces (or place them against my testicles for a thousand years, as was previously posited during a past discussion of this issue). However, my R-392's super-radioactive meter does have an issue with the movement sticking, and I'm dreading having to open it up to try and un-stick it, as I'm guessing that would be a Very Bad Idea™. I once tried removing the four screws from the front of the meter to make an attempt, but it seemed to be held fast. Guessing that was a pretty clear sign that I should go no further.
