I looked at various magnifications and with a few filters and think I 
was able to decipher a bit more.

Carets (^) indicate unidentified characters:

The only difference I see on the front panel is the MC and KC 
knobs.  They give the impression that there are separate "inner" and 
"outer" adjustments, but that could just be cosmetic.
