[R-390] Size of Bristol wrench

Just to confirm, yes it is a .096" 6 fluted spline wrench.  Same size for the knob set screws, shaft collar cap screws, and the IF slug adjustment screws.  Everything in the R-390a takes the same .096-6 spline tool or a Phillips screwdriver, which were originally snappec to the back of most units.  I believe this to be true for the R-390 as well, but I don't have one to physically check all hardware and confirm.

Coincidentally, I am very close to having EXACT reproductions of the always MIA R-390a spline tool in hand and available.  All material is now at the machine shop, just waiting on a final sample before the green light.

Regards,
Chris kc9ieq

Roger, I believe it is .096, but they usually come in a set anyway, don't
they.

Best,

Clemens

(Down to measly two R-390A's now because moving to apartment -   likely
antenna problems ahead too)
