Also look at some of the Chinese offerings on Ebay.  I bought a nice  
little amplifier module for less than 10 bux with free shipping and it's well  
made and even has a volume control on the thing plus a dandy heat sink for the 
 IC amp.

PS  Chris,  You scamp.  Drop me a note once and a while so  I'll know you 
are still above ground.  Actually been finishing up some of  the long term 
projects.  But too many are still gathering dust.   Passion Flower bought me a 
nice new Yaesu FTDX3000 radio for Christmas and I  have not had the time to 
get it fired up.  Grandson Justin, KJ6PWP  and  his mom (Daughter Pamela) 
did help me put up a GRA-50 mast so I  finally have dipoles up for 80 and 40 
meters.
