I knew that they resurrected them for that endeavor.

All of the Harris and other SS receivers couldn't deal with the *sand*.  
Those whom may not already know, the *sand* there is actually more like 
talcum powder!  Once you get off the plane, you have a gritty feel in 
your mouth and throat!

It is so fine that even when I stayed in a BOQ, it would blow in around 
the windows, the door, and the A/C!

That is why pallet loads were resurrected from a warehouse and sent over.

That neon bulb in the antenna switch protected them from all the darn 
static that the *sand* would cause!

Some don't believe it still!

I find the added Jackson style reduction ball bearing assembly interesting!

I'm not sure what control it is added to.

Curious!

Still out of my price league!
