Hi Ray,

I know it was a typo or error but I much preferred the way the first question ended up.
You said: Glenn I have a handful of various boxes like you describe.
How do ensure that you Limit all politicians to two terms. One in office, One in prison

Man, do I ever wish I had that power...HI HI Maybe your subconsciousness had it right. Make all politicians serve 1 year in office and then a year in prison for everything they messed up...Hi.. I bet politics would improve then!

To answer your ACTUAL question.... Usually, I get a sense of the character of the person I deal with pretty quick. If the person has been a ham for years and really likes boat anchors, I have NEVER had an issue with getting my box back. Otherwise, I charge a deposit for the box that is refunded as soon as I receive my box back. That happens probably once in 30 to 40 times, MAYBE.. I believe the fact that the case goes back together in about 1 minute and all the client has to do is slip the return address label into the pouch that his label was in takes all of the work and drudgery out of doing anything. All the client has to do is set the box out the next day and FedEx picks it up. The less aggravation required results in a smoother return process.
The down side to returning the box to me is the client pays for shipping twice. However, knowing their receiver will return in perfect condition with no problems and that removal will be very easy for most folks has resulted in zero issues about the cost.
Most of my clients have been great folks and I have been fortunate to meet a lot of fine people and made some good friends a long the way,
