Well - I have been a member of this list since before 2000. For some 
reason - I decided to
save Nolan's posts that I found helpful or humorous !!! So -  If the 
group wants to see
some of these and finds them "interesting", I will try and re-post a few 
for everyone's
enjoyment.

BTW - I saved many more of Nolan's technical posts as opposed to his 
"informational"
posts....sadly - many of his better "essays" have been lost.

Money? MONEY? Forget money. You'll never get ahead with money

booming underground barter economy...

I'll trade you two big sows (one is pregnant), three pairs of
African geese, a mean ass attack goat, 40 bales of hay, a gallon
mayonnaise jar of corn squeezin's (there ain't no lye in this
here liquor), the pick of the litter of some red nosed pit
puppies and $21.00 in currency for either a restored R-390A or
a big saddle mule that isn't gun shy.
