I have had the distinct pleasure of being a guest in Perry's home and have
had the opportunity to watch him editing schematics. He does redraw most of
the elements on the schematics and then layers those on top of the existing
schematic. He redraws all of the lines and when complete you pretty much
have a new schematic but without the old raster graphics that are so fuzzy
when you look at them in a pixel by pixel view.

It is tedious and tiring work. I would not have the patience for it but
Perry does a great job.
