There is one very simple solution that is readily available.

All I have to do is go into any one of a number of Emporiums and procure 
a quart of denatured alcohol.  It is also significantly cheaper than all 
the other items.

I even have one on the shelf.  I obtained two of these within the past 
few months.  One hasn't even had the seal broken.

I don't believe that the TD will know or care.

In any event, I still have to get the Den/Shack back into a useful 
condition.

That would provide a working area.  That is the one thing that I don't 
currently have.
