What FAQ? There isn't one officially attached to the R-390 mailing list.
No need, because there is the excellent independent one at r-390a.net.

Some of Nolan's highlights are there, including a nicely formatted
HTML version of the overhaul post and a link to his web page archives.
AFAIK, there isn't a collected repository of his posts. Perhaps
someone has them in a saved archive.
I'd like to revisit Nolan's story about dressing out a deer in a New
Orleans apartment parking lot (certainly OT)
and snag a copy of his prophetic email tag line poking fun at Tempest
internet "alert words".
