Regarding the Wingwalker, Jane Wicker.

Jane was a close friend of the family. We had known her since she first
started in 1989. My daughter even wanted to give it a try, but alas,
she weighed too much.

Kirk Wicker taught me to fly R/C airplanes, and taught me spins and spin
recovery when I was working on my pilots certificate. We spent about 1
1/2 hours in a Super Decathlon so I could get that under my belt. I
wanted to do this as it has been dropped from the Pilot's Training
Requirements. I felt I ought to learn as a lot of new pilots manage to
screw up and go into spins while "buzzing" their family's house, or when
they turn final to land and find they aren't lined up.

Getting to the point.

This past Sunday, the Flying Circus at Bealton, VA, had a VERY large
contingent of Wingwalkers and their pilots from across the entire
country put on a VERY long Airshow of Wingwalking in her remeberance,
ALL Narrated by her former Husband, and normal pilot, Kirk Wicker.

It was quite the show!

She is deeply missed, but will never be forgotten!

Kirk Wicker now has his two sons to raise. (They are now teenagers. I
remember when the first one was born.)
