Probably the closest anyone will actually come, and the reality doesn't 
quite rise to the level of the fantasy ;-)   Bring weed whacker and lots 
of friends with strong backs.

Years ago I used to poke around in abandoned Atlas missle silos, and was 
obsessed with the idea of getting this metal desk used as the launch 
console out for my ham shack.    When we discovered it was made of 3/16" 
steel and located at the bottom of a hole in the ground, my buddies lost 
interest ;-)
