Hi

Just to be clear:

The wires that are welded to the edges of the disks are acoustic coupling wires rather than magnetic coupling wires. The only only magnetic coupling is between the driver coils on the end and the driver that connects to the end disk. The basic operating mode of the filters is acoustic rather than magnetic.
