I've posted some pics on Photobucket if anyone is interested in my project.  Included is a pic of the various caps I have bought.  I'm thinking I'll use the metalized film for the bypass and coupling in the 2nd IF except for the filter coupling caps which are already ODs.  Notice how the OD in the IF take up all the space.  The Panasonic .1 were only $.28, the ceramic .01 1KV $.28, the Xicon Poly .047 400V (in the AF) $.53.  However, Jameco has ceramic discs .01 1KC $.19ea (10), .1 1KV for $.59.  So it can be done lots cheaper than the Orange Drops with much smaller caps.  I got a couple of 2uF 630V NTE mylar for $15.50, best price was on ebay from RS with free shipping.

Note that C538 can be a 50V because it's on the filament of V505 pin 3 which could make it a lot smaller.

I was very careful and removed the old caps using solderwick, unwinding the old wires, and replacing the wires like original, wrapped.  The OD re-cap required some planning to get them in.  I made a shield out of soft copper flashing to wrap under the PTO coupling to heat the Bristol screws so I could remove the shaft to get the caps in.
