One thing that few do, but all should do, is keep a detailed log of everything and anything performed. My neighbors who work at Boeing are required to do it at work, and I adopted the same policy at home. Each receiver has its own section in my 3 ring binder, and it makes for a good reminder to me months later of what I did or did not do. It was of particular value when I graded tubes. Good habit.
