[R-390] Orange Drop Caps vs Film Polyester Axial

You can't use them because they aren't as cool. 

Other than the "aura" attached to orange drops, no reason not to use the CD caps. The only real downside is that they are a bit less tolerant of being bumped with a hot soldering iron.
