Don,

I do thank you and all the others that keep the Qth reflectors
running every day and for the most part free of the junk.

Hats off to you all.

Bill, William, list:Admin soapbox on.These intrusions happen ever so often and it isn't the end user's fault.Criminals and mischief makers spend their working days trying to break intosystems and hijack resources for their own gain. These digital thiefs areoften off shore and untraceable. And unfortunately some email systems areless secure than they should be. For this reason, I advise anyone using agmail, hotmail, outlook.com, yahoo, aol, att.net or sbcglobal.net emailaddress to change your password often and use strong passwords. Someservices, like Gmail, offer 2nd level authentication. I suggest takingadvantage of that where feasible. As the list administrator I get to seeall the crap that attempts to get posted to the R-390 list. There must bethousands of messages to the lists of QTH.net rejected outright every 24hours. I often see a dozen or so messages sent to the R-390 list in a daythat escapes outright rejection and get bounced by the content filters. Soevery now and then a message will escape detection and sneak through. Trylooking at any yahoo hosted mail list to see the spam noise showing up onthose lists. QTH.net does a much better job of rejecting unwanted spam.Soapbox off. Back to R-390 radios, please.
