[R-390] received r-390 today

Hmmm,....  I don't want to meet THAT mouse!!

Looks a lot more like a pair of wire cutters or maybe a grinder-type tool.

The best move to make at this point is to CLEAN, clean, clean.  That way you will inspect everything while looking for loose bolts, grounds, smoke marks, etc.

Well some nice fellow posted a craigslist link to a r-390. I purchased it
and it arrived today.I purchased it as a mystery as to weather  it worked
or not.

Plan is to strip it down and restore it. I'd like to test it first to see
where I currently stand. During inspection I noticed that a wire harness
that plugs into J214 has been chewed by a critter. I closely inspected
everything else and that is the only damage I found. I've attached a link
with the a picture of the damage. It seems easy enough to repair that
harness, and I'd like to repair that first before I tear things down to do
a function check of the radio prior to tear down.
